BJP to decide on council poll candidates

SHILLONG: The BJP has been holding meetings to discuss on putting up candidates for the 2019 Council polls scheduled to be held in February.
General secretary Bashailang Khongwir said that a meeting was held on Thursday regarding the matter and will held on Friday as well.
BJP MLA AL Hek said that the party should put up candidates and maintained that the president of the party has to look after the government and not just party affairs.
It may be mentioned that the BJP has not released their list of candidates as of now.
