SHILLONG: The Assistant Executive Engineer of Khliehriat Distribution Sub-Division-II, MePDCL, has informed that according to the SOCC approval, the 10 MVA 132/33/11 KV transformer at Lumshnong subs-station will be put under shutdown from January 18 to 21 for maintenance work.
Areas that will be affected during the shutdown include Lumshnong, Brichyrnot, Umstain, Umsatad, Khatdum, Tongseng, Lumtongseng, Umtalen, Sonapur, Lummyrli, Shymplong, Kuliang, Borsara, Pyrtakuna, UmkiangApha, Umkiang, Lamasooski, Donabhoi, Donaskur, Donaumbluh, Wahkoh, Pahar-umkiang, Ratacherra, Malidor, parts of Byndihati, Umtyra, Nongsning, Umrasong, Mynkre, Chiehruphi, Wahiajer, Thangskai, Musiang Lamare New, Musiang Lamare Old and Umrasiang.
