Theft at IAS officer’s home in city

SHILLONG: In a shocking incident, jewelry worth Rs 7 lakh was stolen from the residence of IAS officer and secretary of the Meghalaya Government Chinmoy P Gotmare at Kench’s Trace in the city recently.
Gotmar, lodged a complaint stating that the incident happened on January 14 when unknown miscreants had broken into his house
