BSF conducts medical camps

Shillong: The Border Security Force organised two medical camps under Civic Action programme as part of Border Management Plan at Umkiang village in East Jaintia Hills and at Gopinathkila village under South West Garo Hills on Tuesday.
Kuldeep Saini, Inspector General, Frontier Border Security Force Meghalaya, inaugurated the free medical camp at BOP Umkiang. During camp, eye screening for visual impairment and cataract was given by Dr. Brando Khongsit, MO Eye Specialist, Composite Hospital BSF Shillong. Spectacles were distributed to the villagers. Free medicines were distributed,.
Another medical camp was also held in Gopinathkila village under South West Garo Hills where 317 patients were fiven free medical check up.
