Drugs seized, two held

Shillong: Two persons were arrrested in the city due to possesssion of drugs.
Jiten Sinha of ARC, Happy Valley, Shillong lodged a complaint that on January 21 around 11:30 am, he along with his colleagues apprehended two persons Simpu Vaiphei (40) and Lalrinsanga Varte (29), while the duo were taking drugs in the Assam Regiment Centre premises at Happy Valley, Shillong.
They later handed them over to police and they are in custody.
