Power cut for 10 days in 32 EJH villages

SHILLONG: The Narpuh Border Area Joint Action Committee in East Jaintia Hills has petitioned the Power Minister, James Sangma to restore power supply in Narpuh Elaka.
Secretary of the committee, Daiapherbha Lamare said that there is no electricity in 32 villages of the area from January 21.
He added health institutions of Lumshnong PHC, Umkiang PHC and other sub-centres were affected due to power cut and the students preparing for examinations are also facing hardships.
