Shillong: On February 4 circa 5.30 pm, a Chevrolet car (ML-05J-0470) driven by Jayanta Das Gupta dashed against a truck (ML-13-7928) driven by Womtreki Dhar at Jowai By-pass Road (WJH).
As a result, the driver and two occupants of the car sustained injuries.
On February 4 at about 7.20 am, a BSF truck (AS-01DC-4527) driven by Kolmith Singh of 141 Bn., BSF, fatally knocked down one pedestrian Robert Ch Momin (22 yrs) at Bollonggre (WGH). Necessary formalities were observed and the matter is under enquiry.
