Kumar reached the CBI office at around 10.45 am  amidst tight security and the process started at around 11.15 am after a small discussion between the Kolkata police and CBI officials about the process. At around 7 pm in the evening, Kumar came out of the CBI office.

Sources informed that there were at least  200-300  questioned which would be put before the Kumar and questioning is being done in phase wise manner

Sources said that the entire proceeding was video-graphed as it was requested by Kumar.

It was also informed that a strong contingent of   12-12 CBI officers reached the CBI office to question Kumar besides there were also police personnel of the Kolkata police

Later, Biswajit Deb, lawyer of Kumar told media persons that they are cooperating with CBI in the questioning.
