Event
Sobujer Dol will be celebrating PRATISTHANA 2019 at Pine Brook Guest House, Laban from 10 am onwards. The event will have a photo & food stall, photo & craft exhibition, general conference for youth along with a cultural evening from 6 pm onwards on February 17.

One-way
In view of opening of schools around Laitumkhrah area, the one-way from Dhankheti – Don Bosco – Laitumkhrah Police Point – Fire Brigade which was suspended during the winter vacation will be re-imposed from February 18 from 7:30 am to 9 am.

Blood donation
A blood donation camp was organised by the Police Training School, Mawroh, Shillong in collaboration with the state Blood Cell National Health Mission, Meghalaya on February 15 at school’s indoor hall where 29 police personnel voluntarily donated blood.

Death condoled
Lions Club of Shillong organised a special meeting at Shillong Club on February 14 to condole the demise of Pradip Jain, the former President of Shillong Lions Club. Members recalled the contribution of Lion Pradip Jain, who served as cabinet secretary, region chairman, zone chairman and was responsible for organising many service projects for the club.

Training ends
The Meghandini Mahila Samiti, in association with Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Shillong has completed its 3-month training programme on educational, vocational and basic skill in beautician course on February 15. The closing ceremony was organised at Govt. Girls’ Higher Secondary School premises, Jail Road, Shillong. Danvon Rapsang, District Youth Coordinator of NYKs, Shillong attended the program as chief guest and distributed completion certificates to all trainees.

Unclaimed body
The Joint Director of Health Services (SS), Civil Hospital, Shillong has informed that one unknown patient (45) was admitted in the male medical ward-II, bed no 84 on January 25 at 5:28 pm. The patient expired on February 6 at 1:50 am. All concerned relatives etc are requested to collect the body from the hospital morgue within 3 days with effect from the date of issue of this general notice failing which the body will be send for disposal by the Shillong Municipal Board.

Missing person
An FIR was filed at Pasteur Beat House that Subham Upadhaya has gone missing since February 12 around 3 pm after he had gone for tuition. He was last seen wearing grey pants and black shoes, black jacket, carried a school bag. He is 5.5 feet in height with dark skin colour.
