15 caught without labour license

SHILLONG: The Hynniewtrep Youth Council (HYC) Sohiong circle as part of its Sier Lapalang operation caught 15 non-tribal labourers without any valid documents on February 13.
The HYC Sohiong claimed that the labourers do not possess labour license from the District Council and directed them to go back to their respective places.
The organisation has urged the residents of Sohiong to not allot work to such labourers who do not possess labour license.
