CRPF ADG asks force to gear up for peaceful LS polls

SHILLONG: Additional DG, North Eastern Zone, CRPF, Arun Kumar Sharma, made his maiden visit to Meghalaya on Thursday. He was received in Shillong by IGP North Eastern Sector, CRPF, Prakash D. IPS and other senior officers and was given Guard of Honour.

The ADG congratulated the officers and men of the North Eastern Sector for their praiseworthy performance and exhorted them to prepare themselves for a peaceful and incident-free Lok Sabha Election.

Arun Kumar Sharma inspected the North Eastern Sector Headquarters and interacted with officers and men of the force. He gave necessary instructions to augment operational efficiency of the Force and laid emphasis on various welfare schemes being undertaken in the Department.
