JOWAI: The 17th annual youth church meeting or ‘Ka Jingiaseng Samla of the KJP Synod Mihngi’ (JSKJP) concluded at the Wapung Presbyterian Church in East Jaintia Hills on Sunday.
A large number of followers from across Khasi and Jaintia Hills attended the three-day meeting.
The main speakers during the morning and afternoon services were Rev. BD Shangdiar and Rev. SG Ryngksai.
Choirs from Jingiasengsamla Umpling, Pyrursla, Nongkrem and Nontalang Presbyterian Church performed during the morning service while Sadew, Delegates, Wapung Presbyterian Church, Standing Choir JSKJP Synod Mighngi took their turn during the afternoon service.
Four students namely Synrangskhem Nongbsap, Phindari Shisha Kharbangar, Sardonix Herald Mylliemngap and Wankerlang Sohtuh were presented with the Proficiency Award for making it into the top 20 list during the last SSLC exams.
The awards were handed over by the chairman of the JSKJP Synod Mihngi, Rev. NK Syngkli.
