Seminar on emergency management held in city

SHILLONG: A one-day seminar on Obstetric Emergencies and Management was held at the Woodland Institute of Nursing in Laitkor on Saturday.
The seminar was organised by CNE CELL, OBG Department, Woodland Institute of Nursing.
A number of speakers graced the occasion including gynaecologist consultants and surgeons namely A Deb, S Dhar, T Kharshiing and Principal of International College of Nursing, Guwahati, P Chakravortty. The seminar also emphasised on the role of nurses regarding prevention, early detection and timely management of antepartum haemorrhage, pregnancy induced hypertension, obstetric shock and puerperal psychological problems.
The seminar was attended by nursing officers, students and faculty members of the institure.
