MAWKYRWAT: After months of tracking people involved in drug peddling in Mawkyrwat, the KSU unit of the district apprehended one person who was suspected to be a dealer and drug addict on Wednesday.
Sources said the incident took place around 9pm when a group of KSU members laid a trap to apprehend the drug supplier identified as Anderson Lyngkhoi of Mawten village from Laitlawsang. Suspected cocaine in a small can was also seized. After interrogation, the KSU handed over the accused to the Mawkyrwat police. Till the filing of the report it could be not be confirmed whether the seized item was drug.
