Sawkmie affirms support for Pala

SHILLONG: Congress MLA and Opposition Chief Whip PT Sawkmie said that the Congress party is united in its effort to ensure victory for MP candidate, Vincent Pala.
Speaking to group of reporters here, he criticized other political parties who asserted that the Congress MLAs have their share of differences with the Shillong MP candidate. In this connection, he maintained that the MLAs, MDCs and former legislators are working hard for the elections.
Sawkmie also criticised the BJP for its failed governance in five years and continued his attack against the party for bringing up the Citizenship Amendment Bill.
