AMPATI: The DC of South West Garo Hills has appealed to the citizens to refrain from carrying huge amount of cash for smooth conduct the Lok Sabha elections. Cash carried by any individual up to Rs 50,000 or more is liable to be seized by the unless testimony is disclosed.

On March 24, Police and the Static Surveillance Team detected a motorcycle (A/F) ridden by Witterson N Arengh at Dinapara junction, South West Garo Hills and seized Rs 1 lakh in cash from the suspect.
