One electrocuted
A regular jugali of MePDCL N.G Momin (50) suffered burn injuries when he came in contact with a live electric wire while working at Umsning sub-station on Monday around 8 am. He was referred to Umsning Community Health Centre and later shifted to Civil Hospital, Shillong.

Abduction
Pronamy R Marak filed a complaint that on March 26 around 7.30 pm, Jemick M Sangma abducted a 16-year old girl from Toligre village in North Garo Hills.

Fraud
One Shemphang L Mawphlang lodged a complaint on Monday that Alexander Nangkitbok Jyrwa (43) of Lower Lumsohra has not returned his Bolero (ML 05N 4149) that he took for use.

Fund pilferage
Kapil Swett, APO & Inquiry Officer, District Rural Development Agency in West Garo Hills, lodged a complaint on Monday that unknown persons were involved in manipulation, data tampering and systematic pilferage of funds under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) meant for Haripur-II VEC and other VECs under Selsella C&RD Block.

Theft
SA Sangma, Border Area Development Officer of South West Garo Hills, registered a complaint on Monday that miscreants stole 4 solar street light batteries from Chigitchakgre, Bolchugre and Jongchetpara.
Hilcostine R Marak filed a complaint on March 27 that miscreants stole his motorcycle (ML-08E-955), which was parked at Rong’kachiring, Tura.
S Binika Dkhar lodged a complaint on March 24 that miscreants stole 24 batteries from a mobile tower at Khliehtyrshi in West Jaintia Hills.

Robbery
Majaharul Ali lodged a complaint on March 30 that around 10 am 3 miscreants stopped a vehicle he was travelling in at Sawegre village in East Garo Hills and looted Rs 1 lakh after assaulting him and 3 other occupants. The residents of Bolchugre village apprehended the miscreants and subsequently handed them over to the police.
Kevinson Shylla and Benedick Kharkongor registered a complaint on March 28 that miscreants attacked them at Malki, Nongshiliang around 9.30 pm and stole a mobile phone, 2 helmets, the key of a scooty (ML 05 7403) and some documents.

Threat
Amabilis Nongtdu lodged a complaint that on March 29 her son Deinishwa Nongtdu threatened her and her family members.

Assault
Nehemaiah Mylliemngap registered a complaint that on March 28 around 10 pm, Lalumlang Jyrwa, Bashan Kharpran and 6 others assaulted him at Malki, Nongshiliang. The victim sustained injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong.

Misappropriation
Sabrina Kharshiing, Branch Manager of Meghalaya Rural Bank, Latyrke Branch, lodged a complaint that on March 27 Shemstar Rynjah, Office Assistant, misappropriated Rs 550,600 from the bank.
