SHILLONG: Protesting against the delay in the implementation of Inner Line Permit (ILP), pressure groups under the Confederation of Meghalaya Social Organisations (CoMSO) will hold a Black Flag Day on Tuesday in all district headquarters.
In a statement issued here, Robertjune Kharjahrin, president of Hynniewtrep Youth Council (HYC) which is affiliated to CoMSO, said the protest will start from Motphran at 10 am.
The members of the organisation will pin black ribbons on the public, display black flags on cars and carry flex boards in which the demand for ILP will be written.
CoMSO has urged the public to allow the members of the organisation to pin black ribbons on them and put up black flags on their vehicles.
Post the observation of Black Flag Day, the pressure groups will initiate a series of agitations.
