Condemnation against Sri Lanka Easter attack

SHILLONG: The Working Committee of the Khasi Jaintia Presbyterian Synod Sepngi on Wednesday expressed its profound grief and pain at the gruesome death and injuries caused to many precious lives due to bomb blasts in the Church and hotel at Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday.
In a statement issued here, the Church condemned the incident and offered prayers and conveyed its heartfelt condolences to the families of the dead and the injured.
The Church hoped and prayed for good sense to prevail in the hearts of the intruders to respect human lives in the future.
Meanwhile, The Council of Catholic Women (Synjuk Ki Katholik) Shillong Archdiocese expressed its profound grief over the act committed by terrorists in Sri Lanka. The Council strongly condemn such acts and pray for the repose of the souls of those killed and also offers its condolences to the bereaved families.
