Mis-representation
Ialamphang Lyngdoh of Mawlai Umjaiur lodged a complaint that MH Consulting Pvt Ltd is illegally using his name and portraying him as their employee. The firm has forged his signature in an appointment letter which was purportedly sent to Meghalaya State Skill Development Society which has opened a project ‘Training of Meghalaya Youth in Adventure Tourism’ thereby representing him as one of their employees.

Fraud
Kamlyne Majaw of Mawlai Umjapung, Shillong lodged a complaint that Lidia L Nonglait fraudulently tried to sell him a property that belonged to Rebelian L Nonglait. In this connection, the complainant made an advance payment of Rs 150,000.

Picture misuse
Pawlina Syngkli filed a complaint that her profile picture in Facebook was misused and circulated through WhatsApp with lascivious comments.

Mobiles stolen
Paumangaure of Nongrimmaw, Laitumkhrah lodged a complaint that on April 29 around 2.30 pm, miscreants broke into his rented house and stole his mobile phone.
Kanam Taruk of Upper New Colony lodged a complaint that on April 29, miscreants broke into her rented house and stole her mobile phone worth Rs 12,000.

Motorcycle stolen
Mattheus B Jala lodged a complaint that on April 29 night, unknown miscreants stole his motorcycle (ML-05S-3484) which was parked at Mawiong Umjapung Nongneng-C, Shillong.

Accidents
Two persons were injured when the scooty (AS 01 DV 9366)they were riding collided with a Mahindra Maximo minivan (ML 05K 8208) on April 28 at around 7.55 am in Nongpoh.
On April 28, a local taxi driven by Jephrang Kharmulieh skidded off the road on Mawhati-Umsning Road, Ri-Bhoi. The driver and a twelve-year old boy sustained injuries and were shifted to Community Health Centre Umsning for treatment.

Robbed
Priya M Marak of Nokil A’we, Williamnagar lodged a complaint that on April 27 around 11 am, she discovered that her property at Bakoldoba, Mendipathar, North Garo Hills was trespassed by one Sadimla Marak and her clan members following which timber, rice, generator set, land document, gun licence and Rs 50,000 were missing.

Pets missing
Halari Syiemlieh lodged a complaint that on April 27 around 5 pm, two of his dogs were found missing from Jaiaw Lumsyntiew.
