Overloaded trucks prohibited in Tura

TURA: In view of the  plying of overloaded trucks and entering to Garo Hills through Paikan road  to Dalu beyond the permissible weight tonnage which is causing damage to the road and creating traffic chaos in Tura town area, the District Magistrate, West Garo Hills, Tura has directed the Superintendent of Police, West Garo Hills and District Transport Officer, West Garo Hills to check all the overloaded trucks and ensure that no trucks shall be overloaded beyond the permissible weight tonnage. They have also been directed to submit its report every fortnight to the District Magistrate for information.
