NCST office not to be shift from city

SHILLONG: Chairman of the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST), T Nand Kumar Sai has assured state LJP leader Jamil Ahmed that the office of NCST will not be shifted or removed from Shillong.
Jamil met the chairman on Tuesday in Shillong and the assurance from the chairman was that the present office in Shillong will be elevated as the head quarters for the North East.
The shortage of staff in the office will also be addressed.
Jamil thanked the chairman for the assurance.
