Man climbs onto transformer, dies from electrocution

TURA: In a tragic incident a man threw all caution to the winds and climbed onto a electric transformer only to die from electrocution on Friday night at Ganol Songma, on the outskirts of Tura.
According to police, the victim Sanjay Ch Marak worked as the personal driver for the GHADC MDC representing Dadenggre constituency.
He reportedly climbed onto the transformer to check for electricity since there was no power in one part of Ganol Songma village.
That climb proved fatal and he was electrocuted and his body left dangling on the transformer.
