Cops nab ULFA (I) cadre in Assam

GUWAHATI: An ULFA (I) cadre was apprehended by Sapekhati police in Charaideo district on Sunday afternoon.

Rituparna Asom alias Surajit Limboo, about 18 years old, had gone missing from his Dhuniyapathar home on September 6, 2018 to join the militant outfit, official sources said.

The youth has admitted to joining the outfit, a fact corroborated by surrendered cadres as well.

Limboo had dropped out of school when he was in Class VIII.
