Programme
The Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority in collaboration with the office of the Labour Department, Government of Meghalaya will organise a one-day legal awareness programme on the “Rights & Benefits of Workers in the Unorganized Sector” on June 29 at Yojana Bhavan Hall from 10 am.

Alumni meet
Laban Assamese Girls’ Higher Secondary School has completed 100 years of its existence as an institution of excellence. In commemoration of its service, the school has decided to hold an alumni meet on June 30 at 10 am in the school premises. All alumni and well wishers are requested to attend.

Condolence
The members of Srimanta Sankardev Cultural Centre and Asim Kristi Kendra jointly held a meeting on Wednesday due to the sudden demise of Sadhan Das, music teacher of the Sankardev cultural centre. Two minutes of silence was observed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
