SHILLONG: The KHADC has given two weeks to the Syiem of Hima Nongspung to prepare necessary bank, expenditure and other important documents pertaining to the allegation of the Hima issuing NOC to the Assam government on the road project at New Balakhowa, Ri-Bhoi.
Deputy Chief Executive Member of KHADC Pyniaid Sing Syiem and Executive Member, Land Titosstar Well Chyne, on Friday summoned the Syiem of Hima Nongspung, Paiem Patrick Syiemiong, Secretary of Hima Michael Warjri and other members of the Hima.
However, the council could not arrive at any conclusion due to the absence of Warjri who is hospitalised.
Speaking to reporters, Pyniaid said the final decision will be taken only in the presence of the Syiem, Secretary and other members of Hima.
Allegations and counter-allegations between Syiemiong and Warjri had marked the dispute over the NOC issued to Assam government.
