Lajong pip Laban SC 2-1

SHILLONG: Lajong youngsters beat Laban SC by 2-1 in the Under 18 Shillong Premier League match played today. Dajied Wanshnong opened the scoring for Lajong in the 54th minute. Laban equalised in the 84th minute through Aplang Buam. However, Abhay Gurung reinstated the lead for Lajong after scoring in the 86th minute. With this win, Lajong have collected 31 points from 11 matches played in the league stage of the U-18 SPL 2019. They were unbeaten throughout, winning 10 matches and drew only once. The young reds will now have to wait for the Finals date confirmation, to be played against the second placed team of the U18 SPL 2019.
