James Sangma, Krymen Shylla take stock of flood

SHILLONG: Home Minister, James Sangma and  Revenue and Disaster Management Minister, Kyrmen Shylla on Tuesday conducted a boat survey  of the flood affected areas at Phulbari and Rajabala in West Garo Hills where several areas including paddy fields have submerged due to flood

During the inspection, both the Ministers assured of immediate help to the affected areas where floods have wreaked havoc  in the last two weeks.

The Two Ministers also held review meetings and discussed about the need to provide urgent relief to the affected people in the area.

During the inspection, local MLAs SG Estamur Mominin,  Dr Azad Zaman, West Garo Hills  Deputy Commissioner, Ram Singh and others officials from different line departments were also present.
