Cattle stolen in WJH
Bunlang Phalyngki lodged a complaint that on July 18 around 2 am, two persons identified as Da-O-Hi Kharlukhi and Poibiang Kharlukhi stole cattle from his cowshed at Untisong Nartiang, West Jaintia Hills District.

Two assaulted
Mikseng N Marak lodged a complaint that on July 17 around 1.30 pm, Tahual Hoque (head construction worker) assaulted him with a shovel while he was supervising the ongoing construction works of a culvert at Eringgre village, South Garo Hills District.
Alex M Marak of Khamari village, West Garo Hills District lodged a complaint that on July 14 around 8 pm, her brother-in-law Babul R Marak assaulted his nephew with a dagger. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was admitted at CHC Tikrikilla.

Miscreants steal bike
Manish Das lodged a complaint that on the night of July 17 or 18, miscreants stole his motorcycle (AS01 BT 0595) from his residence at Lower Lachumiere, Shillong.

Goons rob; murder threat to Ri Bhoi man
Robin Pumah lodged a complaint that on July 14 around 12.30 pm, a gang of six miscreants went to his house at Andubighat village, Ri-Bhoi District and when his wife opened the door, they forcibly entered the house and took away Rs 75,000 and also demanded Rs 1 lakh with instruction to deliver the same within three days, failing which they threatened to kill him.
