SHILLONG: The North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda and Homoeopathy (NEIAH), Shillong, an autonomous institute under the Ministry of AYUSH, organised a one-day regional seminar-cum-workshop centering on the theme ‘Problems and Prospects of Homoeopathic Education in North-East India’ at its campus in Mawdiangdiang on Saturday.
The programme kicked off with a scientific session presented by four teaching faculties of NEIAH on different topics related to the theme. It was then followed by the inaugural function.
The global scenario of homoeopathy and the prosperities in the present golden era of the system were also highlighted.
The inaugural function was followed by the second scientific session where the challenges and problems in Homoeopathic medical education, qualification of teachers, standard format of case-taking, follow-up documentation in homoeopathy and the need to implement undertaking quality research right from under graduate level were discussed.
