Assembly session in September first week

SHILLONG: The Assembly session will be held in the first week of September.
An official source said on Monday that though the session is scheduled for the first week of September, the government will have to fix the date following which the Business Advisory Committee will decide on the number of days.
The election of new Assembly Speaker is likely to be held during the September session.
