SHILLONG: Compared to city roads, Tamabil Integrated Check Post, that connects two countries- India and Bangladesh has the worst road in the country.
The international border also attracts hundreds of tourists from India and Bangladesh every day.
However, the road condition at the zero line connecting the two nations is in a sorry state of affairs.
BSF personnel lamented the poor road condition on Indian side whereas the roads are well maintained on the Bangladesh side, a country which is economically weaker than India.
The poor condition of roads is not only in Tamabil but even in other parts of Dawki.
