WJH admin opens lock on toll gate

JOWAI: The West Jaintia Hills District Administration has opened the lock put on by the Hynniewtrep Achik National Movement (HANM) at the office/quarter of the NHAI toll gate at Ialong on Monday.
Police personnel along with a magistrate official of the NHAI and the toll gate agency (the lessee) were present when the police broke the locks.
It may be mentioned that the HANM had shutdown the toll plaza allegedly due to the failure of the NHAI to maintain the road condition along the National Highway (NH) 6 in East Jaintia hills.
