Rilang viewpoint closed for public entry

MAWKYRWAT: The Deputy Commissioner of South West Khasi Hills, Isawanda Laloo has informed that the famous tourist spot in SWKH, Rilang River Viewpoint at Mawranglang, about 5 km from Mawkyrwat is closed for public entry due to multiple works which is under progressed.
The DC also said that information has been received that despite signboards prohibiting entry till the work is completed, there have been multiple visitors at the viewpoint.
“We requested the people to cooperate so that the works can be completed on time,” Laloo said.
He also informed that the inauguration of the viewpoint will be scheduled soon after completing the work.
