Mawkyrwat: MLA Renikton L Tongkhar on Thursday said within three years, Mawkyrwat constituency will witness better road connectivity with the sanctioning of central schemes like RIDF, CRF and PMGSY.
‘I am proud that we have got many schemes through the PMGSY in our constituency and this is because of the hard work of our engineers who prepared the proposals and estimate for the scheme,’ Tongkhar said, adding that many villages will be benefited through the schemes. There will be up gradation to the existing roads as well as construction of new roads.
The MLA informed that there are nine ongoing works related to up gradation of PMGSY roads which have been allotted and tender for six others will be floated soon.
Besides, there are four other new roads which were sanctioned through PMGSY and the work has already started, he added.
