EVP launched in West Khasi Hills

NONGSTOIN: The Electoral Verification Programme (EVP) was launched at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) School, Nongpyndeng, West Khasi Hills.
F.R Kharkongor, Chief Election Officer (CEO) appreciated the election functionaries of the district and encouraged them to make the EVP programme a success. He also unveiled the EVP stickers and handed them over to the principal of the school and the deputy commissioner of the district for circulation in all the Electoral Literacy Clubs (ELCs).
Others who were present in the programme included the Additional CEO, RP Marak, Deputy Commissioner T Lyngwa, ADCs AVD Shira and PD Sangma, EAC, CP Mawkon, teachers and students of JNV, ELCs, DLMT, BLOs, and others. Meanwhile, training was also organised at Trysem Hall on EVP.
