Residents want ouster of Lyngdoh of Hima Sohiong

SHILLONG: The Joint Action Committee of the residents of Hima Sohiong has demanded the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) to remove the Lyngdoh of Hima Sohïong, Bashemphang Lyngdoh for surreptitiously handing over Nongwah Mawtamur village to Hima Jirang.
Speaking to media persons, chairman of JAC Passbhalang Kharrngi asked whether the Myntri of Sohiong Lyngdohship was aware of the development.
The JAC demanded that Bashemphang Lyngdoh should be removed and to bring a new Lyngdoh in his place.
