JHADC to issue land documents free of cost

WJH school turns 25

JOWAI: The JHADC Chief, Thombor Shiwat, speaking on the occasion of the Psiar UP School’s Silver Jubilee celebration has called upon all residents of Block I area to come forward and register their land in order to prove their right ownership.
“I have been telling your Rangbah Shnongs above this and none have responded so far. If you come to JHADC office, we will issue the land document, be it Land Holding Certificates or Patta, free of cost,” Shiwat said.
Raliang MLA who is the minister in-charge of Fishery and PWD Building also supported the JHADC chief saying that the people residing in Block I area should follow the CEM’s directions.
Meanwhile, the local MLA, Nujorki Sungoh expressed his sadness as the Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, who was invited as the chief guest for the celebration, could not visit the village due to his busy schedule.
It may be mentioned that Psiar Upper Primary School, Psiar village, Block I of West Jaintia Hills organised its Silver Jubilee Celebration on Tuesday.
