SHILLONG: Earth Day Network event was organised by FARM team of Nongstoin Social Service Society in Nongdiwah village, on Friday.
The programme was actively participated by students, teachers, headman, taxi drivers and volunteers.
To educate the people on the importance of taking care of the environment, an awareness programme in the village market square, cleaning drive and planting of herbal medicinal plants was also conducted.
