BJP MLAs to walk 150 kms

SHILLONG: BJP legislators AL Hek and Sanbor Shullai will walk 150 kilometers to  spread awareness about the different schemes and programmes which have been launched by the BJP-led NDA government.
BJP state president Shibun Lyngdoh said that the MLAs along with the members of the State Executive Committee, to celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, will walk five kilometers and visit five villages every day to create awareness among the people about central schemes.
The 150-km walk will start on October 2 and will be completed by January 31,  2020.
