JOWAI: The Sein Kur Dkhar, Jaintia Hills Central Body, led by Vice President Harwis Dkhar and General Secretary Hamjhan Dkhar along with the members from West and East Jaintia Hills, inaugurated its new unit called “looksi-lawthymme-Saphai (lIS) in Saphai Village on Saturday.
The resource persons of the clan, Mothing Dkhar, Mondaystar Dkhar, Habahun Dkhar, MDC and Binroi Dkhar delivered key addresses and exhorted the members of the clan to maintain the unity among the clan. During the concluding part of the programme, the office bearers and members of the unit read out the pledge conducted by the vice president of the central body in the presence of Medistar Dkhar, General Secretary, Sein Kur Dkhar (West Zone), Stephan Dkhar, Pator Raliang elaka, among others.
Others who were present on the occasion included Bnai Dkhar, Auditor, L.I.S Unit and Stalbinus Dkhar, Vice President, Sein Kur Dkhar, Jaintia Hills West Zone.
