SHILLONG: The Assam Pradeshik Marwari Sammelan Shiksha Kosh Trust filed an FIR alleging that a Shillong branch of the committee has been formed without its knowledge.
In an FIR to the Laitumkhrah Police Station, the committee stated that no such branch of the trust exists. The claim was made with mala fide and ulterior motive of laying illegal claim and grabbing the property of the committee by the members of the alleged Shillong branch, the FIR stated.
It further stated that the members of the Shillong branch have illegally encroached and trespassed into the land exclusively belonging to and in possession of the Trust and that they have unlawfully started the construction of a college without the permission from MUDA or other concerned government authorities. The complainant, Pawan Sharma has requested the police to intervene and book the culprits at the earliest.
