Sankidaroi Sajem passes intl blind football referee course

Shillong: Sankidaroi Sajem successfully participated in a blind football referee training course in Pattaya, Thailand, last month, which was organised by the International Blind Sports Federation. 
The course was held from September 27 to 28 around the Blind Football Asian Championship, which ran until October 7. 
Sajem took an interest in blind football during the 3rd North East Blind Football Tournament, which was held Shillong in January. Sajem, a footballer in her own right, has been coach and manager of Meghalaya girls’ and women’s football teams and is an official in the Meghalaya Baby League as well.
