SHILLONG: The NEHU Students’ Union (NEHUSU) will hold a signature campaign on Friday to protest against the interference of administration in NEHUSU election and also for its postponement.
NEHUSU shot off a letter to the Dean Student’s Welfare (DSW), NEHU questioning the DSW’s office in withholding the election for several weeks without providing proper notice.
The NEHUSU leaders asserted that the DSW came out with a notification to postpone the NEHUSU elections without any further notification of date, and as such the election should not be an issue.
It urged DSW to provide a clarification on the matter.
