LinkedIn Local to discuss startup scenario in Assam, North East

Guwahati: LinkedIn Local is all set to kick off season 2 in Guwahati on November 9.
The event aims at boosting face-to-face professional networking in Assam and the surrounding states and to foster a connection amongst LinkedIn professionals of the entire North East India including Southeast Asia.
It will also provide an effective platform for professional networking in Assam and the North East as a whole.
Being an event of an international standard, LinkedIn Local started from Coffs Harbour, Australia and can be found around the globe by now.
The mission is to strengthen the online professional community through meaningful interactions.
It is a professional networking event free of any sales pitch and is aimed at fostering the connection offline.
It is a global community by the users of LinkedIn, designed to take online relationships offline.
LinkedIn Local started as a grassroots movement and grew into a curated community which is now an open source community.
LinkedIn Local events are organic meet ups that provide an opportunity to network, build community, share practices, and discuss the latest industry trends.
The topic that will be taken up by the panellists in season 2 is ‘The Start-up scenario in North East compared to PAN India’.
Pranjal Phukan, Chief Manager, BCPL, Dibrugarh, Sudipta Daas, Co-Founder, NK Das Foundation, Rajeev Saikia, CEO, RD Grow Green Pvt. Ltd. and Dilip Kr. Borah, Ex-Techno Commercial Head, Jamal Al Ghurair Group of Companies, Dubai will attend the event as the panellists for the 2nd edition.
Any person with a LinkedIn profile will be able to attend the event which is especially meant for start-up enthusiasts, corporate, entrepreneurs and job-seekers.
The event had a turnout of approximately 70 individuals in the inaugural season.
