Fraud
Wanarkee Laloo of Mawsynram, East Khasi Hills lodged a complaint stating that on October 26, he had received an anonymous phone call, in which the caller asked him to provide an OTP as proof for KYC, for which he complied. Later, the complainant received a text message informing him that Rs 66,910 had been debited from his savings account.

Theft
B Koch lodged a complaint stating that on October 29, he noticed that unknown miscreants had stolen one set of split AC copper pipes from the office of the State Emergency Operation Centre in Lower Lachumiere.
Tenang R Marak lodged a complaint stating that on October 29 around 2pm, Jamesbirth D Sangma a.k.a Mas D Sangma stole his motorcycle (ML-08-9374) and Rs 32,000 from his residence at Neru Siju Duramomg village in South Garo Hills.
Skhemborlang Shabong lodged a complaint stating that on October 28 around 3 pm, unknown miscreants stole his motorcycle (AS-01BM-7245) from Maroid village in West Khasi Hills.

Threat
The president of Seng Khasi, Hima Mawsynram, Tyllilang Myrthong lodged a complaint stating that on October 12, Bording Marbaniang, the acting chief of Hima Mawsynram in East Khasi Hills threatened the complainant’s brother Batistalang Myrthong and without authority granted under the law, directed him to be present at the Office of Hima Mawsynram on October 20 failing which action would be taken against him.
