UDP leader resigns from post

SHILLONG: The president of the UDP Ranikor circle, GG Bung Snaitiang, on Friday submitted a pre-notice concerning his resignation as the secretary of the UDP Central Body and to exempt him as a member of the party after his tenure as president is over.
The letter which was addressed to supporters and colleagues of UDP Ranikor stated that Snaitiang will not continue as a member of the party due to the tenure of his president’s post ending on March 25, 2020.
“Before that, I am now going about to resign as the secretary of the UDP central body in a very near future. I have always publically declared that I would not leave UDP till Mr. MM Danggo has been defeated and until UDP’s success”, he said.
He also said that he has completed his duty after serving the party for several years.
