SHILLONG: Iewduh – a film by national award winner Pradip Kurbah and produced by national awardee and philanthropist Shankar Lall Goenka was recently released all over India.
Iewduh is the first film from Meghalaya who had such release across the nation.
In a statement issued here, the producer has thanked the people who watched the film and felt overwhelmed by the response and review that the viewers gave.
Goenka said that the all-India release had been the need of the hour and the response that the movie has received is a clear indication that the future of films in Meghalaya is bright.
The support from the viewers means that they are now more open to the regional cinema productions and we should cherish and work hard towards it, he added. Goenka also informed that Iewduh would now go to its second week of screening in selected theatres of some major cities in India.
