Conrad meets FinMin for share of funds

SHILLONG: Chief Minister Conrad Sangma met Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Wednesday to seek release of the central share of taxes for the state.
The amount of central share of taxes due to the state is Rs 371.5 crore per month.
The central government has not released the dues for April to October.
The release of the central share of taxes is expected to help the state tide over the financial constraints.
