State lawyer awarded for contributions

SHILLONG: The India TAALAASH, a national magazine awarded state Supreme Court lawyer Daniel Stone Lyngdoh at a special event held at Bikaner House, in New Delhi on Thursday.
Lyngdoh was conferred with the award for playing his role in ‘India Integration with North East’ in the presence of renowned dignitaries from film industries, singers, dancers etc from across the country.
The lawyer was recognised for his contributions to the North East people in distress. He has also been recognised for his contributions right from being a student leader in Delhi University to now in legal fields, among others.
The event was hosted by Rosy Ahluwalia, a famous fashion designer and IPS Robin Hibu, who was the chief guest in the event.
